Having a baby is a life-changing experience! This 3 week series is designed to prepare you for labor, birth and bringing your baby home.

About this Event

Preparing for your labor and birth by taking classes will build your confidence and ease your fears. This 3 week series includes:

Week 1 - April 9th

Childbirth Preparation:

  • Support person's role
  • Comfort measures
  • Pain management
  • Breathing and relaxation techniques

Week 2 -April 16th

Baby Express (Newborn Baby Care):

  • Diaper changes
  • Why do babies cry?
  • Umbilical cord and circumcision care
  • Tummy time/SIDS prevention

Week 3 - April 23rd

Breastfeeding:

  • Dispel common breastfeeding myths
  • Establish your milk flow
  • How to know if your baby is getting enough to eat
  • Feeding cues
