?? What is Operation Iron Ruck?

Operation Iron Ruck (OIR) is an annual event led by the Auburn Student Veterans Association (ASVA) and the University of Alabama Student Veterans of America (SVA).
Its purpose is to:
   •   Raise awareness about veteran suicide
   •   Increase public understanding of the struggles veterans face
   •   Unite veterans, families, and communities
   •   Support local veteran organizations
   •   Fund vital programs that help save lives

Alabama has one of the highest veteran suicide rates in the nation—OIR stands in the gap, bringing hope, visibility, and solidarity to those who served.
