The weekend invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their emotional world, and experience nature as a space for reflection, expression, and shared creation.

During this art weekend, we will explore some of our basic human emotions through the language of natural phenomena.

What does calm feel like in the body?
What shape does tension take?
What happens when we create without pressure to be “good” at art?

Through art-based practices, inspired by the language of intermodal expressive arts, we will discover different and sometimes unexpected ways of giving form to these feelings. We will also draw inspiration from contemporary artists who create works in dialogue with nature. Together, we will create a collective emotional map and a temporary site-specific land art installation that becomes part of the forest.

The art-based part of the retreat will be facilitated by Maria Semchenkova, who creates reflective and supportive creative spaces where art becomes a tool for emotional awareness and self-discovery.

Hosted by ALMA FLOWER — a growing community of women gathering both online and offline through retreats, conversations and shared experiences.
