- **Event Description**: PIPP Information Non-Profit is delighted to announce the second series of our four-part webinar program designed specifically for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants and their friends or family members. Delivered by our Senior Lawyers, the series aims to equip attendees with essential legal knowledge, practical tips, and a deeper understanding of the PIP process from start to finish.

The ticket for this upcoming series will give attendees access to three or four 60-minute seminars (depending upon option booked), each followed by a Question & Answer session. Sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams at 13:00 on a Tuesday, with the following schedule:

Session 1 – PIP for Claimants: The Legal Criteria (21st April 2026 13:00)
Covering eligibility, the claim process, and the law relating to the two Mobility activities.

Session 2 – PIP for Claimants: The Legal Criteria (Continued) (28th April 2026 13:00)
Exploring the law relating to the ten Daily Living activities.

Session 3 – PIP Forms and Assessments (5th May 2026 13:00)
Practical guidance on completing the PIP2 & PIP Review forms using legislation and case law, preparing strong evidence, understanding claimant rights during assessments, and reviewing the assessment report.

Session 4 – PIP Mandatory Reconsiderations and Appeals (12th May 2026 13:00)
Guidance on managing an MR, including time limits, evidence gathering, and lodging an appeal. Attendees will also learn about the appeals process, what to expect at hearings, how to prepare effectively, and the role of Upper Tribunal appeals.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to participate in Sessions 1 and 2 before joining Sessions 3 and/or 4 to ensure they have the necessary background knowledge. Don't worry if you cannot attend all of the session dates: all sessions will be recorded, with access available for three months after the series ends. Comprehensive slide decks, complete with links to legislation, case law, and other resources, will also be provided.

This new series builds on the success of our recent PIP webinar programme, which saw overwhelming demand from claimants and carers earlier this year. Demand for the previous series was so high that we moved delivery of the series to Microsoft Teams to accommodate a larger audience, and feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive.

As a not-for-profit organisation, PIPP Information Non-Profit operates with minimal fees to cover costs, ensuring our services remain accessible to those who need them most.
