Last November 4, 2024,Baby Kiara Allison M.Sendon diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, who was only 2 months old at that time, underwent a Kasai procedure (where her intestine was connected to her liver) to help prolong the function of her damaged liver. However, she still needs a liver transplant because that is the only treatment that can truly cure her condition.
Since then, we’ve been in and out of the hospital as she often develops infections (a complication of the Kasai procedure). Her stomach has also become enlarged, along with her spleen. We need to raise ₱1.2 million for Allison’s liver transplant. The doctors have advised us that she must undergo the transplant by January or February 2026.
