Fresh from their 2025 tour of The Wind in the Willows, the Paperback Theatre Company are bringing their take on this children's classic to our stage. 

The Railway Children follows Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis as they are swept off to the English countryside by their mother, who is suddenly far too busy to play their games. Left to explore their new home, it is not long before they feel the pull of the railway at the bottom of their garden. As they follow the tracks to the local station, a whole world opens up to them - full of charming characters, romance and questions that need answering.

The Paperback Theatre company are a fresh young troupe, with wit imagination and unshakeable confidence. Their shows are hilarious and touching in equal measure. We couldn't be more excited to welcome them to our sculpture park.

Our amphitheatre is nestled into our woodland at The Cotswold Sculpture Park, surrounded by trees, artwork and wildlife. It is a truly unique way to experience some of the countries finest open-air theatre.
