From its founding, to its move to Park Street and its brief resurrection for the Festival of Britain, Caroline believes that museums remain important and can provide a positive social experience and can help to reduce social isolation as well as provide learning opportunities. Doors open at 7pm at the Ashcroft Centre on Ashcroft Road with the talk starting at 7.,30 pm. FREE to our members, we welcome visitors for a suggested donation of £3 on the door. Have a look at our website for other planned monthly talks, our 2026 programme will be revealed shortly. We also host exclusive events for our members such as recent behind the scenes tours of Bingham House, the Old Station House and the Herbarium at the RAC. www.cirencestercivicsociety.org.uk
