Make your own drum lampshade - a half-day workshop

Join our resident upholsterer and textiles maker, Ruth Martin, to learn how to make a drum lampshade.

In this workshop, Ruth will guide you step by step in creating your own 30cm drum shade allowing you to learn techniques that will give you the confidence to make further shades at home and experiment with your own creative designs.

This workshop is the perfect introduction to lampshade making. Ruth will talk about creative lampshade design and encourage you to explore your own ideas on your crafting journey.

By the end of the workshop, you will take home your very own beautifully crafted drum lampshade, along with the skills and confidence to make more independently. Whether you have explored crafts before or are new to creative endeavours, this workshop promises to be an enjoyable and satisfying way to unlock a new outlet for your creativity.
