Make a Backpack (a one-day workshop for 9-13 yrs)

Drop your child or teen off for a one day kids sewing experience designed to teach the basics of machine sewing. This is the perfect workshop to build confidence and skills along with learning essential troubleshooting techniques.

Our experienced sewing tutor Lauren will go through all aspects of the sewing machine including threading and setting up, different stitches, applique, and making and joining pieces of a simple pattern. You will then make your own lined drawstring backpack with an outside pocket and appliqué design.

Suitable for children aged 9 - 13 years
