Spruce Knob Kite Festival

Free and open to the public. Join us at Spruce Knob Mountain Center to fly kites – bring a kite, make a kite, buy a kite, or just watch – and celebrate the sky and the wind that is a constant presence on our high plains! The New Era Kite Club will be on site flying their fun enormous kites, doing trick kite demos, and conducting kite-building workshops. Other fun wind-related activities and games will be available as well. Main kite flying event on the High Plains, is from 12-4. Live music, beer garden, and camping to follow.
