Welcome to the M**der at the Grand Gatsby Speakeasy Mystery Party!

Come join us for a night of decadent fun and intrigue at our exciting event on Sat, June 28, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM. The party will be held at 9157 S Hwy Dr, where you can expect a thrilling M**der mystery to solve while dressing in your best 1920s Gatsby styles! Get ready for a night of mystery and laughter as you interact with other guests and work together to uncover the truth behind the mysterious crime.

Synopsis:

It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull resources together for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors. On the surface, this strategy is like bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups. Recently, gangsters from opposing mob factions have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the rival bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions. The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them? This is where your story begins.

- You will need to submit a questionnaire so we can assign you a character. Please provide a valid email when you register for this event, and look out for the form with further instructions. This must be completed and submitted before the event with no exceptions. If you sign up for someone else, please make sure to forward them the required info.
- Dressing up in costume is highly encouraged once you know who your character is!
- Drinks and snacks will be provided.
- Please bring your ID for check-in: this event is for ages 21+
- Ticket sales end on 6/22/25 to ensure enough time for character assignment and costume planning!
