We are working to increase our shooting proficiency this week... and every week.
Target: Full silhouette. Focus on the center mass "A-zone" or a specified 6-inch circle.
Rounds: 5-10 rounds per distance.
Procedure:
Start close, perhaps at 3 yards. Fire 5-10 rounds, focusing on a tight group.
Move back to 5 yards. Fire another 5-10 rounds, still prioritizing the tightest group possible.
Continue moving back in 3- to 5-yard increments (e.g., 8 yards, 10 yards, 12 yards, 15 yards), firing a small group at each new line.
The goal is to maintain the same size group or keep all shots within the designated scoring area as the distance increases.
