Weekend Walkabout

Weekend Walkabouts are walking tours offered once each month, May through October. Your $5 donation will go to the Heritage Foundation to further efforts in education, preservation, and community outreach. Registration is required as space is limited. Registration will open for this tour on April 4, 2026 at noon.

TOUR TOPIC: PATRIOTS and PIONEERS

Are there pirates buried in Spring Grove? How did Cincinnati get its name? Which Revolutionary War Soldier’s house can still be seen today? Who was defeated in battle by Little Turtle? This tour touches on the settling of Cincinnati and some of the Revolutionary War veterans and families who came to this area as early Pioneers and are buried at Spring Grove.
