Unite for Teen Financial Literacy Day - Walnut Hills High School (Bramlage)
Join us! On January 30, 2019, in collaboration with Cincinnati Public Schools and Junior Achievement, United Way will host the fourth annual Unite for Teen Financial Literacy Day! We are recruiting up to 150 volunteers representing financial institutions and teams throughout the region to present the Junior Achievement "Personal Finance" curriculum. The lessons will be part of the CPS “My Tomorrow” initiative, reaching all of the 2,400 seventh grade students across twenty CPS primary and secondary schools.
Volunteers can help for 1 hour shifts or more. If you would like to participate in this event, choose your location and shift time. A follow-up email will be sent to you with training details so you are fully prepared for your shift!
As we help children and families in poverty move toward self-sufficiency, we know a key step is preparing children, youth and young adults to succeed in school and life.
As a united community, we appreciate your participation in delivering this important educational initiative to our CPS schools and students. For questions, please contact Laura Wellerding from UWGC at 513-762-7172 or TGF1cmEgISBXZWxsZXJkaW5nIHwgdXdnYyAhIG9yZw==.
Thank you for supporting United Way and choosing to Live United.
