Class Location: 1st Floor. Minimum Age: 16 years old.Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) is a sewing technique that allows you to create pictures in fabric. If you are confident using a sewing machine and can follow a straight line, you can learn Foundation Paper Piecing! In this introduction to FPP, you will learn how to use a paper template as a guide to make a quilt block. Instructor will supply the pattern and a variety of fabrics for you to use during class, as well as two irons and ironing surfaces, two cutting mats, rotary cutters, and quilting rulers to share.Minimum age for registration is 16 years old. A minor must be accompanied by a registered adult.Supplies to Bring:Sewing machine in good working order-make sure you know how to use it and have all of the parts. Remember the power cord and foot pedal!Thread (50 or 60 wt is best) for machine, neutral colorPins, snips, pencilBring if you have (I'll have some to share): Rotary cutter, cutting mat (a small one is fine), Add-a-Quarter ruler or other quilting ruler (at least 12" long), Wonder Clips, ironlunch and beverages.
