Qigong, the practice of energy, is an ancient Chinese scientific study of the power of Qi (CHEE) in the body and the universe; and how to use this power to benefit all aspects of lives.
This approachable technique for Qigong passed from native Chinese Qigong Master, Chunyi Lin, is known as Spring Forest Qigong. One of its foundations is that everything in the universe is energy, and as such, ailments are caused by blockages of energy in the body. Spring Forest Qigong can help improve energy flow and can transform energies to reduce these blockages.
This is a practice group, focusing on movements, mental imagery, and meditation techniques designed to help your body’s natural healing system remove energy blockages, return balance to your body, and keep the energy flowing smoothly. The Qigong Healing movements can be done standing, sitting or lying down. All you need to do is relax and follow the instructions. The energy will do the rest. No special skills, knowledge, or ability is necessary.
To borrow a phrase from Master Chunyi Lin, Chris McLaren was born a healer. He has practiced Spring Forest Qigong for many years with a more intense personal practice since 2012 when he also began teaching. He continues to receive training and teaching from Master Lin and is currently working toward his Master Healer certification with Spring Forest Qigong. He is also the founder/CEO of Conscious Life Planning where he practices integrative financial and life planning. Chris has over 25 years’ experience facilitating various size groups around a multitude of topics.
