The KSO tackles Ludwig van Beethoven’s epic solemn mass Missa Solemnis Op. 123. Hear this rarely performed masterwork sung by a fully professional choir along with soloists —

as the KSO performs the piece Beethoven considered his greatest work!

Despite its ecclesiastical form, Beethoven hoped to create a work whose appeal reached beyond a church. With its universal themes of humanity, nature, and God, Missa Solemnis is about touching the divine in all of us.
