Mental Health First Aid Training for Adults
This training is focused on adult mental health.
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. You will learn the skills needed to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, and to help connect that person to appropriate care. We will be offering two versions of the training, one focused on adult mental health and one focused on youth mental health. All sessions will be taught by Mary Makley Wolff, the Director of the Coalition for a Drug Free Clermont County. You can learn more about Mental Health First Aid Training at: www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org.
The opportunity to attend this training for free was made possible by a grant from the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board.
