This contemplative movement series will bring an empowered experience to connect within your body through yoga and meditation. We welcome the spirit of play, curiosity, creativity, presence and listening, honoring that no two people are alike. We will begin to develop a deeper understanding of the bodies mechanics instead of focusing on the aesthetic alignment.
Sonya Verma is a yoga instructor, meditation coach and Reiki Master. Prior to her journey as a yoga instructor she earned her B.S. in Human Nutrition and Masters in Healthcare Administration and Business Informatics. During her time in school and working in the healthcare industry, yoga and meditation became a cornerstone of her life and helped her stay healthy in mind, body and spirit. She felt drawn to different modalities of healing and went deeper into her practice which inspired her to share her passion with others. When Sonya is not teaching yoga or training she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Daniel and two lovely kittens Bodhi and Willow. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, cooking, hiking and traveling.
