The main theme of the second day of the 2019 Immersion weekend is the Arts. The day will starts with Brunch at Historic Symphony Hotel, located near the Music Hall. This will give us a chance to talk about music, an international language. In the afternoon, our group will attend the performance "A Frenchman in Brazil", the story of French artist Darius Milhaud who composed a surreal ballet influenced by Brazilian music. The performance will be followed by group discussions. Space is limited, so reserve today! Reservations close Frebuary 27th.

12:30 to 2:30 pm Brunch at Symphony Hotel located at 210 14th Street (across from Music Hall). Choose from Mushroom Omelet, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, or Avocado Toast. All meals come with breakfast breads, fruit salad and coffee.
3:30 to 5:00 pm A Frenchman in Brazil performance by Concert Nova at The Woodward Theater at 1404 Main St. followed by small group discussions of the performance in French. The Woodward Theater is a 9 minute walk from the brunch location.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We ask that people who are at least of high school age attend this event. It is not designed for children.
May I register at the door?
No registrations will be accepted at the door.
I am not able to attend the Saturday workshops. May I still attend the Sunday Brunch and Theater?
The French language will be used during the event. What if I'm a beginner?
We welcome participants of all French proficiency levels! You will receive a brief survey (from Survey Monkey) after you register so we are aware of your French conversation skills. During small group activities, there will be a fluent French "team leader" at your table to help, if need be.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a parking available under Washington Park, near the Symphony Hotel. Parking under Washington Park costs $6 on weekends.Parking meters are enforced on Sundays from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your printed ticket to the event to facilitate the registration process.
If there is an unforeseen event like a snowstorm, will my money be refunded?
Due to the contractual commitment to our vendor, there will be NO REFUNDS issued for any unforseen event.
What's the refund policy?
We will gladly refund your registration in total if you cancel BEFORE 11:30 PM on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2019. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THAT DATE To request a refund, go to Tickets in your EventBrite account (go here if you've never logged in before), find your order, then select "Request a Refund." The Alliançe Française will respond within 1 week, and when issued, refunds can take up to 5 business days to show on your account.
I've already paid for my ticket but I can't attend. Is my ticket transferrable to another person?
