Escape the cold and settle in at ZOIE Café for smooth live jazz, warm hospitality, and ocean views that can’t be beat. Expect swinging jazz standards in the style of Oscar Peterson, Kenny Barron, and Mulgrew Miller.
Jackson van Ballegooyen is an expressive, versatile pianist whose style blends classic swing, elegant ballads and modern improvisation. A graduate of the James Morrison Academy, he has toured nationally with Morrison and studied under some of Australia’s leading jazz artists.
Tom Berkman brings a rich rhythmic foundation on double bass. Having trained at the Jazz Institute Berlin and the Manhattan School of Music in New York, he has performed across five continents – including at Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Philharmonic.
Whether you're enjoying a late lunch or catching up with friends for a glass of wine, this is an afternoon of jazz worth lingering over.
