- **Event Description**: We warmly invite you to the Kaart, Koort Maara - Head, Heart and Hands Culminating Community Celebration.

Over the past year, via a Creative Learning for Schools Grant, WCSS students and staff have worked with 4 incredible indigenous artists on a very special reconciliation arts project.

Please join us for a performance led by Karen Hethey in collaboration with Aboriginal artists, students, staff, and our Elder in Residence, Grandma Freda Ogilvie. 

This event will share our interconnected narrative and learning through drama, puppetry, dance, and song with our school and extended community. The narrative centres on understandings of our roles as Bidiyangara (custodians), as articulated in Elder Noel Nannup’s ‘Carers of Everything’ (all classes).

Please note the following details:

- Student arrival to classrooms: by 6:00pm
- Dress for puppeteers (Classes 1–6): navy or black leggings and t-shirt
- Parent gathering place: the oval
- Event commencement: 6:30pm sharp
- Conclusion: approximately 7:30pm
