With a love for the Shropshire hills and outdoors I find peace in the outside and want to share my love for the outdoors by facilitating local walks to bring women together.Transport:We'll be meeting outside the cafe at National trust cafe on Carding Mill Valley car parkWe will meet at 9am and be leaving at 9.30amWhat to bring:Hiking boots or shoes with good grip and ankle supportSnacks to sustain you for around 3/4 hoursRucksackWater (at least 1.5L)WaterproofsWarm layersHat and glovesA small first aid kit with any personal medicationsWalking poles, sit mat, hot drink (optional extras)Terrain:Mostly trails and footpaths. Some uphill sections and some parts with uneven terrain. There are a few kissing gates in this route.Toilets:There are toilets at the car park. There are none along the route, but I will point out discreet spots for 'wild wees'!Safety:The whole point of our walks is that they are enjoyable and memorable experiences for everyone so we will keep to a slow and steady pace. It's about taking in the views, learning about the history and geology of the area and being in nature, not about rushing to the finish line. Having said that, you are responsible for your own health and safety and with all outdoor activities, there can be risks involved. If you are unsure as to whether you are fit to come on this walk, please either consult your doctor or let us know your concerns. Please inform us of any medical conditions prior to the walk.
