This will be our second official book group meeting and we are looking forward to meeting some more new facesThis month we are reading "Queer as Folklore" . Queer as folklore travels across centuries and continents to reveal the unsung heroes and villains of storytelling, magic and fantasy. Featuring images from archives, galleries and museums around the world, each chapter investigates the queer history of different mythic and folkloric characters, both old and new.In this session we will be discussing what we thought about the book and chat about other books and bookish thingsWe are a casual book group, not a serious literary critique group, so all are welcome to come and have a chat. No worries if you haven’t read the book before the meeting or have only watched the film, you may like to chat about what books you love and what you are currently reading.
