- **Event Description**: Join us for this full day immersive blacksmithing workshop on our historic farm over looking the Shropshire Hills. Designed with beginners in mind, our experienced instructor Frazer Picot will guide you step-by-step to create your very own fire poker in our atmospheric farmyard forge. 

With a maximum group size of three, the workshop is suitable for people aged 16 and over. Those aged 11-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

This hands on experience will include:

Instruction about different types traditional blacksmithing techniques
Freehand forming on the anvil
Learn about tool safety
One-on-one instruction as you work at a traditional forge
Master your own set of hand tools.
By the end of the workshop, you will have forged your own handmade fire poker – and had the opportunity to look around Acton Scott Heritage Farm, as well as our onsite Farm Cafe.
