On this holiday we go as a group for dinner at one of Church Stretton’s restaurants – you have a choice of courses to suit your dietary needs – which you pay for yourself
One of Britain’s real secrets – the Shropshire Hills – rolling hill country, with good walking paths and a real welcoming attitude. Our solos guided walking holidays are based in either Church Stretton or Ironbridge Gorge areas. The whole Shropshire Hills area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Church Stretton at it’s heart.
Our guided walking for solos programme is designed to give the walker the best of this secret country – and we have chosen some fabulous walks for you – walking in the natural beauty of the Shropshire Hills.
We walk on the first afternoon, then four more days. We lunch in one of Shropshire’s historic country inns. This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area. We stay at Victoria House, in the centre of Church Stretton, the heart of the Shropshire Hills.
Walking is moderate, some ascending and descending – there are lovely hills and moors after all, and you should be walking fit.
