BICP Coach Certification

Chugach Mountain Bike Riders is hosting the Bicycle Instructor Certification Program (BICP) for a 3-day course aimed at our youth MTB coaches. Priority will be given to current CMBR Kids, Mighty Bikes and Sprockidz youth coaches.

The BICP curriculum provides the foundation for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) youth MTB program, and has been used by CMBR kids for several years.

This is a 3-day intensive course with about 30 hours of study required before the class. The purpose is to teach you how to teach MTB skills, with a large focus on identifying and correcting mistakes.
