# Event Details

- **Event Name**: XCHC Community Potluck
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 04 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm – Sun, 01 Nov, 2026 at 06:30 pm (+13:00)
- **Event Description**: On the first Sunday of each month, we’ll be gathering and sharing kai with our XCHC community, welcoming curious newcomers, prospective volunteers, and anyone who’s simply keen to share some kai and spend time with good people.

Bring a dish if you can (or just bring yourself). We’ll be cooking too, so there’ll be plenty to go around, with vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options.

⭐️ Open invite to creative co-working the 2 hours prior to the potluck! ⭐️

XCHC is a cultural fourth space in Ōtautahi. It’s a place for making things, sharing ideas, learning, experimenting, and finding ways to be in community together. If you’ve been curious about getting involved, want to volunteer occasionally, or simply want to poke your head in and see what’s going on, this is a great place to start.

We want XCHC to be an accessible and welcoming space. If it’s your first time and you’d feel more comfortable knowing someone when you arrive, flick us a message, we’d be happy to connect you with a friendly face beforehand.

Questions? Email info@xchc.nz.co

Come along for shared kai, conversation, and a room full of people figuring out how to make cool things happen together 💛

XCHC is powered by the energy of its community. If you have skills to share and time you have to offer — anything from high-level governance to boots-on-the-ground front of house — we'd love for you to get involved!
