WAIPARA RIVER GORGE Walk & Fossils note date changed

A riverside Walk, it is described as, rather than a set track , sometimes we may need to wade through water , so pls bring your water hiking shoes as well as tramping boots as some long grassy areas are mentioned and stony riverbanks . Looks to be a stunning new location we r yet to explore and hope to see some of the Fossils. Weather permitting I will change this walk if we have a lot of rain as the river will be too high. Shorts recommend or waterproof pants. located near amberly 1 hrappeox from chch .2 to 3 hrs allow for exploring.
