You'll leave feeling connected, reflective, and aware of the 'hidden architecture' that influences how we feel when we gather. This experience will be guided by DK, a Creative Gatherer and founder of Fireside.rs. He has spent two decades designing moments where something real happens between people. From TEDxWellington to Creative Leadership NZ to a city-wide programme that brought over 5,000 Wellingtonians together, DK brings deep craft and genuine curiosity to every experience he facilitates. FAQ · What should I bring? Curiosity, kindness, and an open heart. · Do I need to print my ticket? Just bring the email verification you received with the QR code. (Not to worry, we can still check you in manually if you forget!) · What if I'm an introvert who feels awkward in big groups? No sweat! We've tailored every part of the evening to make you feel like you belong, whether you love all-night ragers or quiet corners. We'll be keeping a special eye out for folks who might be feeling awkward. The whole point of this event is meaningful connection, and we'll make sure you get it! · What if I'm an extrovert who's a pro at this connection stuff? Fabulous! The real magic happens when we've got a beautiful blend of personalities and ways of connecting. · Do I need to register or do you accept walk-ins on the day of the event? Please register in advance, as we don't take walk-ins or sales at the door. We want you to have an experience that feels rich and meaningful, so we limit the number of attendees to make it an intimate gathering. This also allows us to reduce the time spent on check-in and jump right into the juicy stuff! · What's the difference between waged, unwaged, and koha? Waged tickets are for folks who are employed, and unwaged tickets are for students and those who aren't working full-time. You can also contribute a koha amount so we can provide tickets to people who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise. The experience is the same regardless of your ticket type; we just want it to be accessible for everyone. · What if I can't afford a ticket? Drop us a line and we'll make it happen. · When should I arrive? Doors open at 6:30. Please arrive in plenty of time to grab a beverage, get settled, and be ready to kick things off by 7:15.
