Please note that the daytime shows will be completely family friendly both in terms of the venue and the show. For the Friday evening shows, we will have the bar open and especially encourage adults without kids to come to those Friday evening performances! 

Times are tough in the loveliest smallest rural town of all lovely small rural towns in Aotearoa. In fact the town is so small nobody quite knows where it is, but when people do accidentally drive through they can be heard to cry, “What a lovely small rural town, I wonder what it’s called?”, closely followed by, “I think we’re lost, check Google Maps.”

But tech-bro-billionaire Jiff Buckerzusk has been quietly buying up all the properties, even Old McDonald's farm! Only Young McDonald is left!

Just when she’s about to shut up shop for good a mysterious visitor arrives… a cat! But not just any cat, a walking, talking, tail tapping, feline with a beeline who also just happens to be wearing a pair of the most magical gumboots you have ever seen!

Can this fantastic ‘Puss In Gumboots’ help Young McDonald save the loveliest smallest rural town in Aotearoa and put it back on the Google Map even lovelier and perhaps slightly bigger than before?

A classic Kiwiana version of the famous ‘Puss In Boots’ tale, this hilarious and interactive adaptation will have your kids (and and their adults) laughing and thinking about the value of friendship, helping others in need, the importance of community and standing up for what you believe in.

For the Friday night show, as well as the Little Andromeda regulars, we hope a lot of NASDA students and alumni turn up, and friends and family of the cast, and people that have been involved in the making of the show that haven't been able to catch it at schools. It is also warmly open to the public of course. If you want to watch both performances (both casts) back to back, that's awesome. We don't want you to have to pay twice though, so just buy one ticket. If you're def going to both then flick us a message and we'll send you a second ticket.
