On 20 Aug, a third poetry series begins when we will explore the use of emotion in poetry. This series will continue weekly until and including 17 September.
In the first series, we explored all the Senses.
During series 2 we explored using Imagery in Poetry.
There are always opportunities to write your own poems with a group of encouraging participants as well reading, and analysing great poets from the past and present.
We meet from 2-3.30pm in the dining room around the table and experience laughter and learning. Come join us!
CR (Candy) Green, an American transplant to Aotearos, has experienced life through writing lyrics, short stories, creative non-fiction and poetry. Last year here in Christchurch a chapbook was published by ngapukapukapekapeka press. Her writing has found publishing homes in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
