Chorleywood Scarecrow Trail, run by Chorleywood Magazine, supported by John Roberts Estate Agents.Anyone in Chorleywood or Chenies can register to be part of the trail - it is open to all individuals, community groups and businesses.Registration deadline - Friday 25 September (Have your title & location ready when you register - Registration includes your own copy of the Trail Map)2026 THEME: PLAY TIMEThink anything from straw-based Shakespearean character to computer game figures or anything play-related. It could be a playground or Kid's TV scenario, board game inspired story or set-up a group of musicians playing instruments. Remember the more recognisable the better!Translating ideas into scarecrows can be challenging but fun. The most successful ones often have expressive faces, striking poses, relevant props and straw! Pictures below show some past scarecrow crackersGet together with a friend to make a scarecrow double-act - or go even bigger… team up with group members or neighbours to build a tableau.
