Production Dates: Wed 11 Mar to Sat 14 Mar 2026 in the Studio
“The Time Machine” is a very very loose adaptation of the H.G. Wells’ novel. Dave Wells (a direct descendant of H.G. Wells) discovers that his great-great-grandfather invented time travel and realises that the novel is in fact a warning to mankind about their future and he needs to take this message to the world through a production of The Time Machine.
The three actors set to work to create the play but unfortunately not all goes to plan creating chaos!
The production combines eccentric humour, physical comedy, and audience interaction that isn’t scripted, so some improvisation is required.
All three actors will be playing multiple roles, mainly as themselves but also characters such as Frank from Eastenders, Pat from Eastenders, Miss Piggy, Kermit, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Queen Victoria.
The play demands high energy and moves at a fast pace
I’m looking for 3 actors (2 male, 1 female) aged 20’s / 30’s who will be comfortable with audience interaction, dancing, improvisation and in the case of the female performer be able to ‘belt’ out a Cher classic.
There are a limited number of scripts available to study.
