An exciting new initiative from JTL to connect women in plumbing, heating & electrical trades.
Join us during National Apprenticeship Week 2026 for the launch of JTL's new Female Apprentice Network - designed to support women entering and progressing in plumbing, heating and electrical trades.
The launch event themed as 'Building Our Network' marks the beginning of a 12-month programme designed to build confidence, skills and connections for women in the trades.
This interactive, free to attend half-day event will include:
Keynote speakers
- Networking and peer-building activities
- Introduction to mentoring opportunities
- Career mapping support
- CV writing clinic
- Employer engagement
Who Should Attend:
- Women aged 16+ interested in starting careers as electricians and plumbers
- Current JTL female apprentices
- Female applicants (September 2026 intake)
- Plumbing, heating and electrical employers interested in recruiting female apprentices.
