Join the Hallberg Center for the Arts and Chisago Lakes ECFE for a FREE art and story time activity for children from Birth to age 3. In this class, children and caregivers will hear a story or sing along with our instructors before doing a fun and engaging art project. Siblings welcome!

In this class we will be painting a Dinosaur with tempera paints and using a resist technique. As we paint you will cover up the dinosaur, and wont be able to see it, until we pull off the stencil and reveal it again! The benefits of little hands working painting include:

Fine motor skills (holding the brush and tools, dipping it into the right amount of paint)
Hand-eye coordination (and carefully painting around our stencil)
Independence (this activity is great at building independence as kids can easily work on their own for this craft)
Creativity!
Date and Time: Wednesday April 1st, and 15th, 10:45-11:30am

Ages: children who are 0-3 and their caregivers

Where: The Chisago Lakes Primary Elementary School: 11009 284th St. Chisago Lakes MN

Instructors: Surelle Strike and Jess Eischens 

Cost: FREE!
