Chris Marsh on Marcos, racing and classic cars

Most of us know something of Marcos cars and it's founder, the late Jem Marsh.

The company established a cult following, helped by some of its intrepid race successes and ambitious forays to the Le Mans 24 hour race and its vehicles are still winning races today.

Jem's son, Chris, is still actively campaigning his Dad's old race Marcos at events such as the Le Mans Classic, as well as running a classic car servicing and repair business near Chippenham.

Chris has kindly agreed to talk to us about his memories of Marcos in Bradford on Avon, as well as his own adventures on the race track, including racing a Formula Ford against Ayrton Senna.

Anyone who knew Jem will be pleased to hear Chris possesses the same charm and charisma his Dad was famous for, so this should be an entertaining evening.
