Celebrate the Athelstan 1100 Pilgrim Way Walk and Cycle

Just a few weeks ago walkers and cyclists led by the Mayor of Malmesbury, Cllr Stephen James, successfully undertook the Athelstan 1100 Pilgrim Way - the journey from Malmesbury to Kingston upon Thames - and joined the commemoration of the 1100th anniversary of Athelstan's coronation.

To celebrate the success of this adventure Stephen would like to invite you to a very special event at 7:00pm on Wednesday 26th November at Malmesbury Abbey.

It is a unique chance to hear Stephen’s stories from along the way (with support from fellow walkers, cyclists and special guests), see great pictures and mementos from along the way, and discover pilgrimage secrets of Malmesbury Abbey with a guide.

Tickets are just £10 and include a glass of wine or soft drink and cake. Follow the ticket link or at the TTIC in Malmesbury Town Hall. Family and friends welcome! All the funds raised will go to the Mayor of Malmesbury’s Charity Appeal.
