By the Fireside at Malmesbury Abbey

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: informal feel-good music events with refreshments available in the abbey café before and after the concert, where you can meet friends and make new ones, and enjoy live music, often with the addition of a poem or two…

December’s programme is a collection of seasonal music with a warming feel: some inspired by fire itself, such as De Falla’s Ritual Firedance, alongside contrasting lullabies and other beautiful melodies to calm the spirits. Music by Vivaldi, Fauré, Gladys Rich and others.

Concerts last c45m and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
