Mayoral Candidate Forum - April Election

On Monday, March 23, at 6:00 PM, the Chilton Public Library will host a Mayoral Candidate Forum for the upcoming local election.

All declared candidates for mayor have been invited to participate in an equal-time Question & Answer forum. Each candidate will have the opportunity to deliver an opening and closing statement. Questions will be drawn from a combination of pre-selected questions prepared by the library and questions submitted in advance by community members. Each response will be limited to a set time in order to ensure a fair and balanced forum for all candidates. No follow-up questions will be permitted.

Community members who would like to submit a question for the candidates may do so by emailing aW5mbyB8IGNoaWx0b25saWJyYXJ5ICEgb3Jn or by submitting a written question at the library’s front desk. All submitted questions must include the sender’s first and last name and address. Questions will be selected as time allows.

There will be limited in-person seating, with overflow seating available. The forum will also be livestreamed on the library’s YouTube channel.

To maintain a respectful, neutral environment, there will be no audience participation or questions during the event.
