Celebrate Winter Solstice and the Yuletide Season by joining us in community to honour the return of the Sun ☀️

Come together in community around the fire and in Nature to honour the turn of the season with Rooted Soul Gatherings. We are emerging from the dark and welcome the return of the Sun. Come meet likeminded people that practice earth based spirituality.
Dress for the weather! This event is outdoors on the banks of the Ts’elxwéyeqw River (Chilliwack River). We gather in all weather. Rain. Snow. Sunshine.
Please Bring something to share with the community in the spirit of this season of Yuletide. Shareable food items and drinks. Bring a cup for tea! Please be mindful of waste, reusable containers, utensils and dishes are our favorite. Bring a camp chair if you’d like to sit! Otherwise, the only thing you need to bring is your open heart ♥️
Come as you are! This event is open to everyone and has no financial cost to attendees. All people from all walks of life are welcome, from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between. Bring your friends, bring your family.
This gathering is rooted in honouring The Great Mother, Mother Earth. Everyone will be invited to participate in a sacred fire ritual, intention setting and sharing around the circle. Bring your drums, rattles, guitars, songs, poetry, or anything you'd like to share with the community.

LOCATED on Chilliwack Lake Road, a 5 min drive from the Vedder Bridge Roundabout across from Edwards Road. Edwards Rd has two openings onto Chilliwack Lake Road. You are looking for the first opening on the left hand side as you drive towards Chilliwack Lake.
If you use the Maps App on your phone, type in Edwards Rd. Scroll into the map so you can see the first crossroads of Edwards Rd and Chilliwack Lake Rd. This is where we will be.
There is a pull out with concrete barriers where about 4 cars can park. I am going to kindly ask that this area of parking be left to cars with people who need the direct accessibility to the area. There is parking across the street along Edwards Road. Please use caution parking and crossing the road. It can be very busy with fast traffic.
Please CAR POOL. Meet up at the Vedder Rotary Trail Park by the Vedder Bridge and pack your car with friends, new and old! Please use this event page to offer rides and carpools.
