A few notes
Weather:
If the summits have nasty weather, we can simply turn back when we hit the alpine. 
Gear:
Poles are recommended. Spikes are optional and unlikely needed. 
Group Pace:
This is not supposed to be only for super fit and fast people.. We aim to be very welcoming! If you can handle a Bakers Grind, or 2-3 Abby grinds, you will be fine (for at least the first climb). Each trail is an out and back with few places to take a wrong turn. If someone is falling far beyond the group pace, they can simply turn back early and meet at the parking lot. It his very discouraged for anyone to turn back solo though, so partner up! Feel free to message me if you have any concerns about your pace and fitness and keeping up with the group.
Parking:
Chilliwack River Valley has had break in problems in past years. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle. 
You are expected to know each trail and be self sufficient. Bring lots of nutrition, water and any emergency supplies you may want. I'm not a professional guide, just an organizer.

I need to be back in Abbotsford for a 7:00 hockey game, so another person will need to lead Elk if the group wishes to keep going. We can keep this a full day event as per tradition if someone else is fine with leading.
