Invocations

Enjoy an enticing blend of various culturally significant composers with this special concert by the Bergmann Duo! Joined by Vancouver-based flutist Paolo Bortolussi, this diverse program promises an afternoon of discovery and reflection on influences from our musical past. Invocations is a seminal work of the repertoire, Prokofiev’s Sonata for flute and piano in D Major will be featured alongside Astor Piazzolla’s suite L’Histoire du Tango, as well as some gems of traditional Irish and Canadian folk music- and more!
