Chillicothe Civic Theatre presents The Haunting of Hill House, an unforgettable theatrical event that blurs the line between stage and reality.

This performance is a fully immersive presentation, providing the audience with the chance to experience the chilling events of Shirley Jackson’s story with far more realism than a traditional stage show.

While we assure you that you will be safe from harm, you may actually feel the spirits moving around you, notice the walls shifting when their presence grows stronger, and even sense the ground trembling when the spirits become upset.

To preserve the atmosphere of Hill House (and avoid angering any lingering souls), light levels in the theatre will be dimmer than usual—before, during, and after the performance, as well as at intermission.
