- **Event Description**: Our first Smash tournament was a lot of fun and a couple of kids walked away with some cash!! We are going to be doing another one July 11th at 2pm. We want to run it a bit earlier to make it possible for some more people to join. 

Our Smash Ultimate tournament rules:
to avoid variables in the competition we will have a set stage for 12 year bracket and your character picks must be decided prior to the match start 
Stage: Battlefield
Stock: 3
Timer: 7 minutes

We will have 2 sets of joy cons with handles if you don't have a personal controller. wireless controllers must remain off while not in use. all personal controllers must be a stock controller, and any modded controllers are strictly banned. matches are going to be random draw from a hat. Double elimination race to 3. Finals are 7 stock race to 7 no clock. Steve is banned to avoid the phantom glitch and no planking. 
House rules
Contestants must be hygienic and not be offensive to others, if the issue disrupts business, we will have to ask you to leave. We ask that you do your best to keep your language clean and respectful as there will be several children and families participating. If you "rage" you will be forced to forfeit. If you break anything out of anger or celebration you will be asked to pay for it. We want contestants to understand that this will be a noisy and stimulating event with loud noises and flashing lights. Please make accommodations prior to the event to avoid any issues. There will be a zero tolerance for any unwanted touching/disrespecting personal space and if someone is made to feel uncomfortable you will be forced to forfeit and asked to leave. We expect everyone to be sportsmanlike and respectful while you are here, remember it's just a game and we want to have fun.

12 and under $5 entry
Cash Prize for the first-place winners 
The rule announcement will be at 5pm and the bracket will be filled shortly after, if you are late, you will not participate unless there is an odd number and a slot available. To be fair to others we will not reserve a spot
