Smith College Spring Bulb Show

Take a stroll through the Botanic Garden at Smith College in Northampton for their annual Spring Bulb Show. Over 8,000 bulbs are coaxed into flowering simultaneously, providing an explosion of color against the backdrop of the departing winter. An impressive display of crocuses, hyacinths, narcissi, irises, lilies, tulips and non-hardy South African bulbs offer an early glimpse of spring. The aisles are narrow and this event tends to be crowded. If you have a walker these conditions may not be ideal. Space is limited. You must register in advance.
The cost is $2 and you must register in advance at RiverMills Center. Registration opens Monday, February 23rd at 2 p.m.
