Figure Drawing Session with Jazmin Sarai Gonzalez
Experience the powerful connection between movement and the human form in this unique figure drawing session. Live pole dancer models embody strength, grace, sensuality, and artistic expression, offering an inspiring study of the body in motion and at rest. This two-hour immersive session invites artists to capture the raw beauty of form, flow, and emotion.
All skill levels are welcome! Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or have been sketching for years. Each session features a dynamic mix of quick gesture drawings, ranging from 1- to 5-minute poses to capture movement and energy, followed by longer 15- to 20-minute poses for more detailed study. Models will be partially unclothed, in keeping with traditional figure drawing practices.
This drawing session will be supervised but non-instructional. The artist will, however, be happy to offer basic guidance and answer questions at the beginning of the session.
About the Artist: Jazmin Sarai Gonzalez received her BFA from CSU Chico in 2017, where she emphasized in printmaking and developed a passion in figure drawing. During her studies, she held a solo exhibition, participated in multiple group shows, led the printmaking club Acid, Rocks, and Rollers, and interned at the Janet Turner Print Museum.
A student at Freebird with two years of pole experience, Jazmin recently performed in Into the Swamp. She continues to merge her fine art and pole artistry to create fresh, expressive work for the community.
