U.S. Midwest Regional Workshop

Join For the first time ever, Lincoln Park Zoo will be hosting IMATA's Midwest Regional Workshop on 3 May 2019.

Attendees will get a chance to see some of the marine mammals and birds at the zoo such as harbor and grey seals, polar bears and African penguins.

Registrants will spend the day sharing presentations, having open discussions, viewing public training demonstrations and behind-the-scenes tours.

Registration can be completed online at Registration will be open until 15 April or until there is no more space available - whichever comes first. Registration will be $30 for IMATA members and $35 for non-members. Snacks, lunch and parking will be included in the registration cost.

Sign-in will begin at 7:00 AM on the day of the event.

IMPORTANT: Due to space requirements, the workshop will be limited to the first 70 registrants; walk-up registrations will not be accepted.

If you are interested in giving a presentation, providing any updates, or leading a discussion, please submit an abstract or description to Jill Dignan, amRpZ25hbiB8IGxwem9vICEgb3Jn by 1 April. Presentations will be limited to 15-minutes.

Cosley Zoo is hosting an post-workshop zoo day on 4 May from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The zoo day will include admission to the zoo, training and enrichment demonstrations, animal encounters, a behind the scenes tour, and light refreshments.
