Transforming Learning Collaborative -- Winter Convening in Chicago
Hosted by the Transforming Learning Collaborative (TLC), The Incubator is a yearlong cohort-based learning experience that enlists experienced educators from TLC schools as mentors to help teams of educators or school designers to bring their bold vision for learning to reality. In addition to working with mentors, Incubator teams have three in-person convenings (Fall, Winter, and Spring), during which they visit schools that are leading the way in next generation, real world learning and learning directly from other practitioners.
On February 25-26, several TLC Incubator teams will head to Chicago, IL for their winter convening. On Monday, February 25, K-8 team members will gather at Chicago International Charter School West Belden to learn best practices from the Distinctive Schools and Polaris Charter Academy. At the same time, high school team members will visit Chicago Tech Academy and will learn best practices from them and GCE Lab School. We are holding a select number of seats for local educators to join us for peer-led workshops.
