Presented by MM Productions, the event invites audiences to observe posture, gait, balance, and breath as records of lives that have carried pain, anger, grief, and a hard-won acceptance of the body as it is now.Models of different ages and body types move through walks drawn from somatic practice, wearing pared-back looks that sit between clothing and care, with details that read as support, shielding and restraint rather than ornament. The evening unfolds in segments that move from tension and pain, through anger, toward release and acceptance, grounded in the lived experiences of physical and psychological trauma. Each segment opens with a short spoken introduction that ties the runway back to the museum and to how we look at another person’s pain. Together they shape an intimate, reflective atmosphere, a quiet way to sit with the body in the present in that hushed, sculpture-lined hall. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/13bbe3a0-dd78-11f0-88d7-03064bf281e1-rimg-w592-h740-dc19191b-gmir.jpg Maxine Black is a Chicago-based entrepreneur and former model with interests spanning fashion, technology, and experiential event production.
